Unit Overview
The Diploma in Perioperative Theatre Technology prepares learners for more advanced responsibilities in surgical and operating theatre environments. It builds on basic theatre knowledge and equips students with deeper understanding of surgical procedures, patient safety, and theatre management systems.
In a real hospital, the operating theatre is one of the most critical departments. Everything must be done correctly — from preparation to sterilization to assisting during surgery.
